Rescue Emergency Care (REC) Scheme
Rescue Emergency Care (REC) is a well known and respected first aid training organisation founded in the mid 1980s by Dr Robert Phillips while working in remote healthcare and adventure rescue services.
Rescue Emergency Care courses provide candidates with a unique learning experience that is completely relevant to their needs, with specific environmental and work place considerations.
The courses are suitable for Outdoor Sports Instructors, Personal Trainers, Voluntary Organisations (Scouts, Guides etc). Specialist HSE approved training can also be delivered for remote sector workers – Utilities, Forestry, Farming and remote locations i.e. Railways / Construction etc.
Approvals: REC Courses are approved by most Sports Governing Bodies including the MLTB, BCU, RYA and Scout Association.
About RCS Training & Consultancy Ltd
RCS was established by Richard Smith – with over 15 years experience in the training and Environmental, Health and Safety business, gained in the Railway Construction and Aerospace engineering sectors, we have the experience to make your training relevant and engaging.
Richard is also a volunteer Mountain Rescue Team member with Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team, and a keen mountain biker and mountaineer. Our first aid courses are tailored around realistic scenarios gained in both the outdoors and industry to give you the confidence to be proactive in an emergency.
