First Aid

Richard is a Mountain Rescue team member with Calder Valley Search & Rescue Team, and has over 10 years operational experience. We deliver very popular REC Level 1 (1 Day) and REC Level 2 (2 Day) courses, as well as HSE Approved REC Level 3 (First Aid at Work) aimed at the remote working sectors – forestry, utilities, railways and construction.

Our training is accredited by Rescue Emergency Care (REC). REC provides a nationally recognised structure of awards, which are recognised by all the major outdoor governing bodies including MLTUK, BCU, RYA, MBLA & BOF. REC is also approved by the Scouting and Guide Association.

These courses are based on the Philosophy of “Hands on – Practical Learning” and not death by endless PowerPoint. The courses are based upon real scenarios, by instructors with real life experience of managing casualties and incidents in the outdoors. So we provide you with realistic challenges and push you to learn more each time you train.

Speak to us about bespoke REC first aid courses for your club / organisation or workplace – we can deliver at your venue and give you exactly what you require: Climbers / Boulder specific , first aid for mountain bikers, first aid for forestry / utilities / railways and remote construction sites (i.e. footpath / trail maintenance / wind farms).
